• The full creative mix, from receiving briefs, to producing presentation quality artwork
• Creating detailed technical drawings for manufacture
• Producing artwork files ready for print production
• Ensuring high quality design output and meeting studio deadlines

You

So, to be considered for this signage artworker job you’ll be passionate about design details. Have an understanding of typography, and able to demonstrate your knowledge an skills of the Adobe Creative Suite, Corel Draw and / or SolidWorks.

In addition you’ll ideally be:

• A Graduate in Graphic Design or related Creative Degree
• Experienced in creative artwork or sign design / manufacture
• Able to drive (Essential)
• Experienced in the architectural and design markets (Desirable)
• Eligible to work in the UK (Essential)

We’re recruiting a Head of Design for a creative company specilising in commercial interiors, visitor attraction and other branded environments. You’ll be a creative 3d designer, capable of producing technical working drawings too, and either already a Head of design or a Senior Interior Designer. This interior design jobs in Cornwall. You’ll either be already based locally or wanting to relocate there. Some relocation assistance will be available.

From creative concept, through design engineering, manufacturing through to install they manage the process ensuring quality of delivery and customer service.

This Head of Interior Design jobs Responsibilities include:

• Lead the creative development of a diverse range of projects across a wide range of disciplines within the whole design team, thinking strategically and responding creatively to client and marketing challenges.
• Provide regular updates to the Directors and be passionate about KPI’s and profit.
• Identify, develop, direct and deliver the implementation of the interiors projects and to support the director’s vision and help to make this happen.
• Drive new business opportunities for the Interiors Department and oversee all aspects of interior design projects, from concept to completion, on time and on budget, with a commercial edge on competitors.
• Line Management of Junior Interior Designer and Design Manager. This involves all appraisals, performance management, delegation, recruitment and development to ensure the smooth running of the department.
• Close liaison with sales and marketing.
• To be responsible for all quality control on all Interiors operational issues (internally and externally).
• To attend Project Planning and Management meetings and work with the Design Manager to allocate and manage jobs for the Design team.

You:

The Head of Interior Design job requirements include you to have the following:

Essential:

• Three Dimensional Interior Design qualification.
• Experienced in all aspects of design implementation. Proven experience of commercial activities in a business setting. Estimating and costing of all work. Knowledge of T&C and standard contracts.
• Proven experience of developing and delivering a programme of work, on time and on budget.
• Great conceptual abilities, solid visualization skills and ability to use sketch-up.
• Experience of managing/supervising others.  IT literate in all usual programs.
• An understanding of all design applications on both platforms. Knowledge of Adobe Creative suite, Sketch up and full use of Mac.
• Multi- Project Management experience or qualification. Creative thinker with practical know-how.
• Problem Solver.
• Full driving license, ability to work unsociable hours as and when.
• Be prepared to work way/overnight/weekends.

Desirable:

• Understanding and use of CAD drawings.
• Health and Safety Knowledge
• Experience of Branding, Signage and Display Industries.
• Management/Supervision experience or qualification.
• Experience of Tender Applications.
• Ability to present bespoke ideas to clients.
• Understanding of all industry equipment.
• Proven experience in dealing with high value projects (£300k+).
