The company design and deliver high quality, bespoke architectural signage, wayfinding and environmental graphics solutions, our client works with architects, designers, corporate clients and leading brands on prestigious projects throughout the UK and Europe.

About this Subcontract Signage Installation job

Due to their current volume of projects our client has sufficient work to offer full time work to a freelance / subcontract signage installation crew during this exceptionally busy period for them.

Primarily you’ll be working on sign installation jobs in London, working on site fitting signage, wayfinding, window manifestations and environmental graphics within high end / prestigious environments. You may also be required to carry out signage maintenance and repairs.

You

To fit the ideal profile for this subcontract signage installation job in London, you will have proven experience in signage installation completing work to a high standard. You will be self employed or run your own subcontract signage installation business. In addition, our client is looking for a crew, lead signage installer and fitters mate, based in the London area. (SW London may be advantages but not essential)

You will also need the following:

• Your own van and tools
• The Lead Installer will need a minimum of 5 years experience, and have the following attributes:
• Joinery / Carpentry knowledge
• Basic electrical understanding
• Excellent eye for detail
• Willing to be flexible and work at the time required on different installation projects
• Demonstrable examples of completed signage installation work / projects

What’s in it for you

The Company:

A global retail design and activation agency with an envious portfolio of luxury brand clients. They specialise in the design and implementation of in-store marketing initiatives including turnkey retail environments, merchandising display fixtures and retail furniture. We’re currently recruiting a Marketing Executive on their behalf, and they’re flexible on experience. For more junior marketers you will be nurtured by the incumbent Marketing Director, helping to implement marketing campaigns, for more experienced marketers you will be able to take more of the workload to enable the Marketing Director to concentrate on other areas within the organisation.

The role:

Reporting to the Directors, you will be responsible for working on the company’s marketing efforts, with the specific remit of, but not limited to:

• Digital Marketing – Website content, Metadata, SEO, Keywords, Data Capture etc.
• Social Media Marketing – Marketing strategy, delivery and ongoing management of the company’s social media platforms.
• CRM – Maintaining, updating and keeping accurate customer information, creating marketing communications and following up.

You:

To be considered you will need to be able to demonstrate:

• A proven understanding and experience of business to business marketing.
• A portfolio of setting up and managing company social media pages – Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram etc.
• Solid understanding of SEO, Google analytics, Metadata and data capture.
• Good communication skills, internal and external, written and verbal.
• Website management.
• CRM management.
• Outgoing personality.
• Able to work on your own and self manage (especially for remote working).

Nice to have skills include:

• Degree educated or equivalent further education.
• Creative – copy writing, graphic design and/or artworking.
• Additional languages to English. (French, Portuguese, Spanish, Chinese, Cantonese…)
• Experienced working as a marketer for a similar creative business or agency involved in branding, marketing, advertising, retail design, point of sale or in-store marketing solution for high end brands.
